Short for Scalable Link Interface, SLI is an NVIDIA technology that allows two video cards that support SLI to share workloads and increase overall performance. SLI video cards run on certified motherboards over PCI Express.

  1. Download NVIDIA inspector at: https://www.guru3d.com/download/nvidia-inspector-download/
  2. Run the application.
  3. Click on the Toolsicon, circled below.

  4. Scroll to the SLI section and look for the SLI rendering mode option.
  5. Select the SLI_RENDERING_MODE_FORCE_SFR (for split frame rendering).

  6. Click the Apply changesbutton in the top right corner of the window.

  7. Close the NVIDIA inspector application.
    You may need to restart your computer for changes to take effect.
  8. Also make sure to open Nvidia conrol panel, go to "Manage 3D Settings" and make sure under "Global settings" that under "OpenGL rendering GPU" it is "Auto-Select" that is selected.

NOTE When SLI mode is enabled, and you have multiple monitors connected, only one monitor will work.
